About Online Therapy

Online therapy can be a great way of accessing support if you have the right things in place.

First off, it's important to have a good internet connection.   If you're not sure about yours, you can get plenty of helpful advice from Ofcom, here:   https://www.ofcom.org.uk/phones-and-broadband/coverage-and-speeds/broadband-speeds/

It is, of course, important that you also give consideration to the additional privacy and security issues working online brings .  â€‹Click on the button below - Working Effectively Online - for some tips on how to get the most out of online therapy:

The video conferencing platform I have chosen (doxy) is easy to use.  You will not need to download any software or remember a password.  If you would like to find out more about doxy, click here

Please be aware that no matter how well we prepare, there is always the possibility of technical hitches or disruption due to internet issues.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions at all you may have about working online.  Your safety and comfort matter.
