Data protection is of the utmost importance and I am obliged, by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) to protect your data according to their guidelines.

Client Confidentiality
What we speak about is confidential. I will not discuss it with anybody apart from, on occasion, my supervisor if I feel it will help me to provide better care. Any information I share with my supervisor is anonymised. My supervisor and I are both bound by a Code of Ethics regarding your confidentiality. On occasion there may be a legal or ethical responsibility for me to share information with third parties. Examples of this include if I believe there is a serious risk of harm to you or others or if I were issued with a subpoena by a court. If such an occasion were ever to arise I would always endeavour to discuss it with you first, before taking any action.
